Arma Soap and Detergents Company was established in 2004 with a production capacity of 120 tons per day. It is the result of a collaboration between Red Sea–Gulf Company and Hayel Saeed Anam & Co. Group. Production began in 2006, and with the company’s development and the addition of new production units, the production capacity was increased to 140 tons per day in 2009.

In 2017, the production capacity was further increased to 460 tons per day, and in 2018 it reached approximately 600 tons of powdered detergents per day. To meet manufacturing requirements and secure essential raw materials for soap and detergents, new factories were established to produce soap noodles with a production capacity of 200 tons per day, which are used in the manufacturing of various types of toilet soap (Joy, Dush, and Rivoli).

In line with customer requirements and to gain a share in the liquid detergents market, the factory’s production capacity for liquid soap reached 300 tons per day, offering a variety of products such as Oxy and Al-Wafeer, liquid soaps for hand and body cleansing (Rivoli and Dush), as well as glass and floor cleaners.
