Egypt Power for Trading and Agencies was established in 1997. The General Industries Complex at the Helwan/El-Hawamdeya branch includes a bus manufacturing plant, a semi-trailer manufacturing plant, a vehicle service center for buses and trucks (rehabilitation and performance upgrading), a metal industries factory, a painting workshop, a fiberglass workshop, and warehouses.

Egypt Power has a high level of expertise in these fields, as the company carries out design, development, and manufacturing, and provides integrated solutions to its customers. It has also obtained licenses from international companies in the same field such as Doosan, MWM, and Weichai.

The company continuously seeks to develop its products and increase the local content ratio through ongoing cooperation with Egyptian scientific research institutions. It also aims to expand its market share locally through efficiency-enhancement projects and is currently exploring export opportunities to the African and Gulf markets.
